While command-C is one copy technique, did this capture users who select, then right click and choose copy? Or those who have an X11-style of desktop environment where merely selecting some text is enough to copy that into a clipboard?
For a better experience, the three Org commands org-store-link,org-capture and org-agenda ought to be accessible anywhere inEmacs, not just in Org buffers. To that effect, you need to bind themto globally available keys, like the ones reserved for users (see(elisp)Key Binding Conventions). Here are suggested bindings,please modify the keys to your own liking.
